I am the founder of Prana Ayurveda. My vision for Prana Ayurveda is to empower individuals to find their true state of wellness in mind, body, and spirit through the science of holistic medicine.
We live in a world where disease and discomfort are common and accepted as part of life. For a long time, I bought into that message too, along with the idea that getting ahead and ticking boxes of achievement would make me happy. But it was always short-lived.
Despite working in healthcare for over 15 years, first as a biomedical engineer, and then doing my PhD in public health specialising in mental health and addiction, I could not find answers to my health issues that felt holistic and empowering. Instead, I was pointed towards medication, supplements, elimination diets, expensive skincare or just ‘learning to live with it’.
Then I discovered Ayurveda, which translates as the art and science of living. Simple adjustments to my diet and lifestyle brought changes within weeks – more energy, clarity around what my body needed, a sustainable routine, and most importantly a positive relationship with myself.
That’s what I want for you too.
Ayurveda resonated so deeply with me that I have been studying it ever since, and I received my certification as an Ayurvedic Health Advisor through the Hale Pule Ayurveda and Yoga School.
My approach combines the best of traditional medicine and modern science into sustainable and practical diet and lifestyle practices, so you can overcome disease and discomfort, look and feel your best, and enjoy an optimal state of health and longevity.
